Just what is it that we are saving anyway?!?

The concept of Daylight Savings Time is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. We don't save anything. There aren't any more or fewer hours in the day. The earth continues to revolve and rotate at the same rate. The only thing that is accomplished is all of these silly humans (and it might even only be silly schedule obsessed humans living in most parts of the United States) running around adjusting various chronomatic devices. If we operated on a more natural cycle--getting up when it gets light out and going to bed at some point after darkness arrives--wouldn't it make more sense and probably be healthier into the bargain? Gack!!
